Coming soon: A new park in downtown Tulsa

After over four years of planning and hard work, Land Legacy's dream of creating a park in the heart of downtown Tulsa will soon come true. Last year, Land Legacy purchased a half block of surface-level parking at 6th and Main. Next month, the property will be officially conveyed to the City of Tulsa, who will oversee park construction. A ribbon cutting for the park is tentatively scheduled for November to coincide with the state's Centennial Celebration.
Land Legacy is extremely grateful to our many project partners and donors who have helped make this project a reality. Among these important groups are the Oklahoma Centennial Commission, the H.A. and Mary K. Chapman Charitable Trust, the Walton Family Foundation, the Helmerich Foundation, the State of Oklahoma, the City of Tulsa and Downtown Tulsa Unlimited. Without their support and assistance, the park would not be possible.
